The thread olldflame mentioned is stickied at the top and regularly updated when a commit comes in...the prospects thread is updated when Sly (or manson/duke) gets the latest round of commits and updates the individual player threads as well

Matthew Martin from Westside High in Anderson, SC is a 2 star WR recruit and we are his favorite and have offered him a scholarship. The only other offer showing is ole Coastal. This could be a great get for us. Another 6'1 guy across from BJ who has possibly more speed than BJ.

We need a couple running back commits, and possibly one who can play as true freshman. I am hoping the kid from Hertiage can start next season and put up some good numbers.

I´m sure a RB is on our recruiting wish list, but the cupboard is not totally bare. I think Frankie Hickson (AKA ¨the kid from Heritage¨) has a shot at challenging Macon for some carries. Buddy Edwards is still listed as a FB, but he showed in a limited sample this year that he can be a beast running the ball. He is listed at 230 on the roster, but word is he is over 250 now. If we don´t sign a RB this class I expect Denvre Daniels to be moved there from WR. He was primarily a RB in HS, and could be an option on 3rd down.

I'm thinking were looking to sign around 20 kids just based off graduating kids and defections, could be wrong. So what else are we looking for. I would think we're still looking for a rb, atleast 1 more lb, 1 more do and 1 more ol and then a couple more athletes. Just a guess

Any idea who the latest commit from Texas is?

THere was one on the 15th and one on the 20th according to the hashtag 16niteLU...

It's Solomon McGinty a juCo dB from Texas. Looks to be a strong safety 6"3 220. I think he's ready to come in and play. We needed that at safety bad. Can't find anything offer wise but he was on Texas board out of high school.

Thanks for the insight jinxy. I figured it had to be somebody we didn't know about already (at least on the board).

Looks like there's a new roster up. There will obviously be more.

Do we have any idea how many guys were looking to sign? I would think we're still looking at lb dline and 1 rb and 1db. That's totally a guess though.
