I guaranteed this win in case everybody forgot.
Also we charged the field after a the big VMI comeback in '03. That seems so silly now. Haha

Those Alpine hats came in handy in the 4th quarter. And the prof. I was sitting with won an Ipad2. Great WIN for the Flames! Josh guaranteed the win, and he came through in the clutch with the TD pass.

Looking forward to watching this game on the DVR when I get home. I just hope that I got that last TD within the 3 hour time window

The announced attendance was 18,955. The crowd was called out by ESPN College Football in a tweet:
We may be seeing the Liberty crowd in our nightmares tonight. We like the enthusiasm though.

We got quite a bit of love on Twitter from some big accounts. A few of the ESPN accounts and the Reddit college football account said good things.

Nice seeing attendance higher than Sun Belt and American. Would be interesting to know TV ratings vs. those other two.

Best note from the post game notes and why Gill is still taking us in the right direction despite the disappointing season.
Under Coach Gill, Liberty now has 4 wins over Top 10 opponents including 2 this year. The Flames have won 6 of its past 9 games against top 25 opponents. Liberty improves to 13-2 in November under Gill with the only 2 losses coming against Charleston Southern.

My way too early prediction for next year is that we could very likely rack up 8 wins in a rebuilding year if a few things fall our way. If Chadwell leaves CSU that's a win. And if Coastal redshirts the majority of their new guys that's a win. The two FBS games are losses. Robert Morris and Jacksonville should be wins. If we schedule another bad out of conference team for our last game, that should be a win. We may very well go the Coastal route of an easy schedule leading to a lot of wins. I'm okay with that in a rebuilding year.

The top play on Sports Center was Chris Turner's interception.

Nice win but just makes the rest of the season that much more frustrating. Good to see us go to the TEs tonight.
Does the BSC still have the auto bid with Coastal leaving?

Yes, we'll have Kennesaw officially in the conference next year.
