I know that this is Chuck South's homecoming and probably the best team they have had in years but check this out. They haven't beaten us at Buc Field since 2005, which was my freshman year at LU. Not to mention since 2007 they haven't scored more than 16 points against our defense. 2013 we won 56-14 with Gill at the helm, 2011 we won 38-16, 2009 another win 20-13 and 2007 we won 50-10. So thats a combined score of 164 - 53 in a landslide favor to the Flames. Now, I know you can throw previous years out the window but for some reason we play exceptionally well there and I don't doubt that we will want a bit of revenge because of what they did to us last year. Also, lets not forget our #1 fan josh woodrum predicted a win too. LOL

If we take the same team to CS that we took to G Webb, we will lose.

Plus we need to have better play calling and establish running game. Get running game going, then air it out to #13 deep.

I live about 2 hours away and was planning on going to the game but my wife decided that would be a good weekend for the baby to take Christmas photos. I was hoping to make this my first ever Liberty game but I guess it will have to wait until next year with PC and Coastal.

It was clear to me that we kept last Saturday's playbook vanilla on purpose. Thankfully it didn't burn us. I expect a wide open playbook this Sat and lots of Masha, josh runs, and who knows what. It's is already the playoffs already.

How is it clear that the playbook was vanilla? I'm fairly certain they have film on the other games we have played this year.
I would have hoped they would have done some 1 off things that will give them something to think about

6 rushes, 3 passes. and 1 reception isn't much I agree, but it's not "haven't seen him" either. It's my opinion that we will see him. You see different things in each teams film anyway, and I think we will see some wrinkles to try and expose this defense.

This does make some sense. They have clinched a playoff spot and don't have "as much" to play for, so them possibly losing to us only hurts them in fact they don't finish undefeated in league play. It's also possibly bad that they could be limping into the playoffs in three weeks on a two game losing streak, we know for sure about the one in Tuscaloosa, so they do and don't have something to play for.

Alabama is a name game and $$$ grab, so depending on how bad the beat down becomes, they will rest some starters there to prepare for play-offs. Now the game that would matter at that point again would be us vs Coastal and Coastal maybe not having that 2nd or (if possible) 3rd league loss. Then all bets are off, but at least LU has them at home.

CSU remembers quite well the butt kicking laid on it two years ago in North Charleston. TRUE

CSU will be plenty motivated. MAYBE
Could be their trap game?

Coming off a conference clinching win over a top ranked undefeated Coastal team.

Playing a 5-4 team with two conference losses

And looking at Alabama the following week.

I think we'll get this one, setting up the big Thursday night game on national TV.

We didn't play him until the end last year and he got us into the playoffs. Maybe they are hoping for the same this year.

I've talked to CSU's players. They despise Liberty. You're insane if you think this is a trap game. The Alabama game is meaningless, and Chadwell is smart enough to hammer that point home.

Fact, we are 14 point underdogs. Fact, this is the most talented Chucky South team LU has ever faced. However, FACT LU possesses the BEST wideout in all of FCS and the number 1 passing attack in the Big South. Something will have to give this weekend. LU wins this one 34-17. I know I am drinking the kool-aid, but it tastes so good :)
