Very impressive attendance numbers after 3. The student section is the best I've seen!
Average 20,582
If we get a good crowd on Nov 7th, the Coastal game could give us 20,000 per game this season.

Excellent game-day experience and atmosphere for home games this season. Great weather so far. More appealing opponents for the most part, which I wish could continue. And love the night games.

Pretty good considering our "capacity" is 19,200. That puts us at @ 110% of capacity. Not too shabby. If you don't belong to the Flames Club please consider joining and show your support for LU athletics. I do not get compensation for this advertisement :D

The Flames Club has done a great job indeed, in fact, everyone here should be a member. $60 a year and they have a monthly payment plan.

With that said, the Flames Club has very little to do with our attendance this year. Well, maybe not "little to do", but they do not get all the credit for our great attendance. The director of ticket sales should get a lot of credit. Ryan has done a great job selling thousands of group tickets for our games and making sure our attendance is reaching heights we have never seen before.

I agree that there is a concerted effort. Glad to see the hard work of a number of folks getting recognized. Just imagine what the numbers would be if we hadn't have lost our most attractive home date on the calendar.

I think everyone played a part. Flames Club, Ticket Sales, Athletics Marketing, and of course the football team itself...all of them contributed to the outstanding attendance we have seen this season.

I agree Chippy. The Flames Club staff does a great job. There are some on here that should be Flames Club members but have not done so yet. Now is a good time to join. Flames Club is trying to reach the 1,000 member mark this year.

Bob is incredible at his job. That said, because of our financial situation, I don't see the need for everyone to be in the Flames Club. If you can't partake in the benefits, it's not a definite "you should do it" like it is at many schools.

Athletic clubs are kind of slowing down. I know at WVU the Mountaineer Athletic Club membership is dropping but attendance numbers remain very high. The school has been offering packages such as Big 12 game package or 3 /4 home game packages for basketball instead. Sure beats paying the 500-1000$ membership fees just to even get to buy season tickets. But they have offset this with others ways to make money such as beer sales. Maybe liberty can try that one out.. jk of course. But the Liberty fans seemed to enjoy the beer at the wvu game.

Bob and his team do a great job. They don't have unlimited access to the cash machine. SJ, you should become a member.

I'm not a member... this was really the first year I was in a financial situation where I wouldn't have sweated joining. Unfortunately, my wife's business keeps us pretty busy on the weekends during the fall. That being said, the value you receive is pretty darn worth it. LU's gameday atmosphere has really improved and the price you pay to join is really not all that high at the moment in comparison to other athletic departments we'd compare ourselves with from an aspirations point of view. The kids club price is even more incredible, plus they get a t-shirt.

We've had this conversation/debate on here before. My position is that since I'm five hours away and make it back to one game a year at best, there are other places that are better fits for my family to give to. If I were able to make even half the home games in a given football season, I'd join in a heartbeat. When I was in Lynchburg, I was a member even when I worked for the athletic department. When I ran The LUnatics, we were members as well. It just doesn't make sense for where I am currently.

Between you not wanting to give to the flames club and me not being able to make it campus in the 2 years I have lived in DC we are just terrible fans.

The first step is admitting it.
