Possible Head Football Coaching Candiates

Gill's strength is his ability to recruit at a high level. Gills weakness is his ability to motivate and to be a vocal leader. Rocco was a great motivator and his weakness was his ability to recruit at a high level.Rocco was able to motivate far less talented teams to win here at LU.We need both a great recruiter and great vocal leader as our next head coach to lead us into FBS. I nominate Mike London as are next head coach.UVA is a terrible job to have in college football and it's not fair to judge him based on his results at UVA.Mike London was very successful at Richomond and knows how to recruit in virginia. If UVA does fire London I believe he should be are top head coaching candiate.

We should institute a drug testing policy on this board. That may not be the most asinine thing I've seen posted here but it makes the file. Good grief.

He was successful at Richmond with someone else's recruits.
If we're gonna have this thread, let's at least make it serious.

I would take Gill over London every day of the week--and twice on Sunday! (and I'm a UVa alum).

London is clueless. He can't manage qbs and makes horrific decisions every game like Gill made yesterday. He's no upgrade at all.

If London came to LU, I would have a giant bonfire with anything RED that I own.

If our next head coach is Mike London, you'll never see me at an LU football game again. Forget taking Gill over London, I'd take Edsall over London.

We can at least agree that he is not going anywhere of his own volition. I also think he has two more years and if he rights the ship then I think he is here for a very long time.

He could lose the next 4 games and he'd still be fine

Some people think Duke and I want Liberty to lose.
Anyways, if we finish 3-8 and last in Big South...
If we lose to a first year program on homecoming...

I think they will not let him but think he needs to clean out the whole offensive side of the ball and start over because that is the problem and if they do let him go I think they should hire someone from defense because they are the best and I think it should be Vantz Singletary or Robert Wimberley.

The only member of this staff we MIGHT consider for the HC job if Gill were fired would be Ron Brown, and I doubt he would take it out of loyalty to Gill.

Why has no one mentioned BJ for the spot?
