Not wanting to pry but where's Chris Lang writing at these days?
I've enjoyed his writing and intel over the years re: Flames Sports but haven't seen anything written lately by Chris on the Lynchburg Advance. I had seen yesterday on newsadvance.com that his blog wasn't even posted / accessible on the site.
Has he moved onto another better gig?
I'm not wanting to start any gossip, rumors, but just clueless as to where he's at or what happened to him? I've got the utmost respect for him and his contributions as a Flames fan over the years to Liberty athletics.

He has taken a job as a golf writer in Richmond. Here is the thread.

His last game was the Delaware State game I believe so he's been gone for a few weeks now. The board went through the grieving process in the thread olldflame posted above and now have embraced Damien Sordelett (who has made a few appearances on here as well) as the "scribe", so you really wouldn't have "started" anything LF4L so you really have nothing to worry about.

I was wondering how long they were going to keep my blog up there.
If you're at all interested in the state amateur and pro golf scene, you can read my stuff at vsga.org and in Virginia Golfer magazine, which goes out to anyone who is a VSGA member. We had a member win a USGA championship this week at the U.S. Women's Mid-Am, so that was fun to follow.
Thanks for the kind words, libertyfan. I'm still watching from afar (invested too much time over the last decade not to stay interested) and tend to tweet more raw opinion on sports than anything. Damien is doing a fine job in my stead. His first stint probably helped in that regard. I'm enjoying reading his stuff.

Anyone else have a hard time getting LU updates on twitter by a Dog Profile Pic.
SJ should be able to explain how important your profile pic is , if wanting to be taken seriously.

You could. I hear there's money in it, and (IMHO) churches could use some Social Media coaching.

There are so many "church social media" gurus out there. I just don't have the ego to self-promote myself that much.
And that's saying a lot because everyone here knows the size of my ego.

It's not the size that matters but how you use it.....

I did...course this coming from a guy who was always put at line in pickup football games because of his weight and made Jared Lorenzen look like Steve Young when he played QB

He certainly did...and probably still does. I was referring more to my lack of fleetness of foot.
