Great win! I expected them to respond well from last week's drubbing.

Couldn't see the game but the Offense sounded awesome. I am not sure about the Pass defense.

Next week's game will be big to show poll voters that the team is for real.

Good win today.

Show up, clean things up, and stay healthy over the next four weeks and then get ready for the final two games of the season.

As bad as Woodrum and Lunsford were last week, they were that good today. Lunsford really changed the game with that last FG.
Woodrum showed great leadership, didn't make any mistakes and threw a great ball today.
We finally got our running game going.
Just having Petey on the field was big today.
That King kid is going to be a great one.
Got some good push by the DL when we needed it.
Great game by the coaches. Took some stones to make some of those calls. Especially that last FG try.
Hopefully we can recruit some DB's before the Coastal game. Really exposed there today. We have enough to win the rest of our conference games until the CCU game. Maybe they can get some experience and really improve a lot before then.
Worst announcers I have ever listened to. You just can't get any worse than Wayne Gandy. He needs to work on his game BIG TIME.

3-2 record for Liberty in conclusion to Non Conference play for the Flames.

Glad to be done with that portion of our schedule.

Based on predictions before season, how do people's overall expectations compare with actual results at this point in the season?

I had predicted Liberty to be 3-2 at this point, but in my prediction: it was a loss to Montana and a win to Southern Illinois that was where I made my errors. The SIU game was hard to gauge / short notice / and clouded with some degree of unfamiliarity. And on the other game, I live amongst a sea of Montana Grizzly fan-base, and with some familiarity with Montana picked with them with a W against the Flames in a close game.

What say you?

This was a bad FBS team. Even so, it says something about this program when we beat an FBS team, we are happy, but not ecstatic. The new normal?

Our Liberty running game coming out firing and putting up some strong showings, and defense stepping up in the end of the game when it mattered. Proud of our RB's mostly. We needed that kind of game to make the difference, and right the low output of the past two games. A good game to build off from overall.

That's what I'm hoping for. Not much can be a substitute for experience.

Our DBs are great making tackles and pursuing runners. They just can't cover the deep ball.

That should be worth two home playoff games.

Coverage was pretty good on all the long GAST TD's but one. Passes were just on the money. Secondary play their hearts out! Nice win. Hated to see Masha fumble today. Regular RB's are doing a great job hanging on to the ball. Perfectly executed game plan! Nice win!

I hope you are correct. Because unless we have a WTF game, we will only lose one more game..................... possibly. I think we can give the beachchickens a very good game at home if we play like we did today. We are going to be the toughest game they play all year.

IMO, our WTF game was last week.

I agree, but we are not above having another one if we don't take things seriously.

Huge props to woodrum and Lunsford. This week those guys were almost perfect. Incredible athleticism at receiver and we're redshirting another stud in daniels. King broke one guys ankles twice on the same play. I thought stamn had one of his best games with play calling. He kept them slightly off balance all night. The obvious is the secondary. Man we have to figure out some way to improve there. Not having wes hurts but that was bad.

Arbuckle has a great touch on the ball and some great receivers. Petey makes a big difference for the offense and probably Josh's confidence.
