Had a chance to sit in on the Sun Belt coaches conference call earlier today. Trent Miles said wide receiver Donovan Harden should be "playing this game" after breaking a bone in his foot during a non-contact drill in the preseason. Harden caught 60 passes for 885 yards and 7 TDs last season. http://www.newsadvance.com/sports/damie ... cbf49.html

And Gill indicated on the Hot Line show last night that Peterson will also play this Saturday. Both teams have had Freshman WRs step up and play well while their Senior star receivers were out.

Wish I could be there for this one. Would be great to see the Georgia Dome one last time. I loved that place, but the new stadium will incredible.

So, will we have more fans there than them on Saturday?

I think you could argue that it is actually is a must-win for an at-large. While far from a certainty, our odds of gaining at at large without this win are fairly low.

At large bid is why I say "must win". We need an insurance policy in case CCU upsets us come November. But I am hoping we can run the table.

I am so excited that my family and some other LU friends/grads will be able to be at the game Saturday. We rarely have an opportunity to go to games because of coaching. I will be bringing a member of my staff that is an online student as well.

Absolutely a must win for an at large. Win this one and we can lose a conference game and get an at large. Doesn't even matter which game

It is a must win for my morale and that is about it.

Maybe I am just a pessimist...but I think our odds of an at large even WITH a win are fairly low after our debacle on Saturday. And especially if Delaware State continues to lose.

A win pretty much puts us in the catbird´s seat for an at large. We would have to self-destruct to lose it. I can see scenarios where we could lose a tight game here, then win out til the Coastal game and still get an at large if we lost to the chickens. It would require Montana, Southern IL and CSU all having good years and finishing in the rankings. Our 4 losses would be to 2 FBS and 2 ranked FCS teams (CCU would likely be 1 or 2) and we would have 2 wins against ranked FCS opponents. Teams have gotten b ids with worse resumes.

Must Win games dont need a list of stipulations. It is eiter a must win or not. If we can lose and still achieve our goals of a national championship, its not a must win. I understand your sentiments and Im being technical, but I just watched Brian Regan.

He discusses this and many other topics on his recent , live event at Radio City Music Hall, on comedy central. Id suggest it to anyone.

Delaware State is totally irrelevant. The fact that that they are bad and we think we should have beaten them by more really doesn´t matter. It´s a W. Last week is only a bad loss if Southern IL ends up having a poor to mediocre year. I have reason to be optimistic that they will not, and could very well be ranked before the season is over. If we were to go 8-3 with wins over an FBS team and Montana and our only losses to WVU, Southern IL and CCU, we are in.

This will probably be the only game I catch in person this season since it is in my new backyard. Hope to see some of you at the game. I assume there will be an LU Alumni tent there as well. I'll have to reach out to Tyler Falwell to be sure. I will be with a few X Flames Football players as well including QB Ben Andersen.

I had this game pegged as a W going into the season, and I certainly still believe we can win it, but this is NOT the pitiful rag-tag Georgia State team that took the field last year. We MUST execute better than we did against Southern IL, or we will be looking at going into a 2-3 hole to start the season. I believe the Liberty team that beat Montana and gave WVU their best test of the year thus far can win by a touchdown or more.

WHile they are not the ragtag bunch of the first couple years, this bunch reminds me of Liberty when Rocco took over for the 2006 season... in that they don't really know how to win. Since winning 3 games in 2011 as an FCS independent, they have won a total of 2 games, and their win over Abilene Christian (in their second season at the D1 level), they had to rally in the 4th quarter to win that one.

I believe that we can go into the GA Dome and get the win this weekend. Ive believed it from the day this schedule was announced...is it going to be a walkover? I highly doubt that...but we showed we can hang with the mid-level FBS squads (and beat a few as well) so I think we take this one in a close game. Maybe not on the level of the App State game last year as far as total score, but definitely a close one.

Hey guys. Got a couple trivia questions for you.

Without looking either of these up:

1. Who was the Flames' opponent on their last trip to Georgia?
2. Thanks to Todd Macon, Liberty scored an offensive TD in their 57th consecutive regular season game. When was the last time Liberty failed to score an offensive TD in a game and who was the opponent?

1. Georgia _______
2. Whoever we played 58 games ago.

When do I get my prize?
