Was reading the release on Josh being named conference offensive player of the week and noticed that he has a few records in his crosshairs as we head into Carbondale this weekend:

Passing Yards
9548- Robby Justino Currently 1326 Yards Away

Offensive Yards
8,806- Robby Justino Currently 584 Yards Away (btw does someone want to explain why the disparity between his total offense record and passing yards record?

Passing Touchdowns
64- Robby Justino Currently 10 TDs away

He is also top 5 in passing efficiency and completion percentage

I would assume sacks and lost yardage.

I think with him and Petey it will take awhile for them to be recognized for what they DID against what they could have done

I agree...both are going to be all over the record books at LU but because of the lack of success in terms of wins and losses, you won't see them as first year HOFers come 2020-2021

Thus my point. The fact they are going to be holding All Time records will be judged against the team results. Despite the numbers a lot of their legacy is going to be based on what happens the next 60 days or so

Agreed PH...its sad I think, but its the truth. Barring injury, Josh only needs to average 100 yards and about 2 TDs per game to surpass Justino.

Josh Woodrum broke the all-time passing yards record with his 231 yards on Saturday. He needs 6 TDs to break the all-time passing touchdowns record, and 155 yards to break the Big South all time passing yards record and around 390 yards to become the first QB in Liberty history to throw for over 10,000 yards, and the first ever in the state of Virginia at the FCS level

In reality BJ, shouldn't he, he likes everyone to know that he has been a 4 year starter and all that, im not sure about most of the other people that he is passing but how many of them were all 4 year guys too. Did any of them set these records in less games and or less seasons. IDK, and I am honestly too lazy to look

He's a good QB, but he'll be the record holder because of longevity. Had Brock Smith not wasted his redshirt year in Karcher's final year, he likely would've passed Justino too because of playing four years.
