We need some balance to this board to help balance out the negative nancys.

Their QB threw 3 INT last week, but their kicker has hit a 46 yarder in each of the last 2 games. I think they are good for 2 TDs & 2 FGs.

Our run game picks up this week and we have a balanced approach: 2 throwing TDs and 2 rushing TDs. And John hits 2 as well.

I have this one 34-31 Liberty. Lunsford hits 2 FGs including one from 66 as the wind mysteripusly shifts to his back right before the snap and he blasts it so that it would be good from 70, thus breaking the all division record for longest field goal, then hits a more pedestrian 34 yarder at the horn to win the game

It'll be close until the end of the third and we'll pull away in the 4th quarter.

after a lot of thought I am still torn.
Best case scenario: LU-45 SIU- 14
Worst case scenario: SIU-45 LU-21

If we go in there and completely beat the breaks off of SIU i can see us going into GSU and crushing them. leading into a conference schedule where we avg somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 ppg and beating coastal. going into the playoffs strong.
If we lose, i can see us also losing to GSU and hobbling into conference play and eventually losing to coastal and missing the playoffs. i really cant forsee us going 1-1. but it may happen. either way I'm hopeful for the first time in a long time that we can actually be in the top 5 this year going into playoff selection.
