I learned in middle school it is best to ignore your critics. I guess some did not learn that lesson.

BuryYourDuke wrote: On occasion a source that is otherwise credible gives you information that turns out to be incorrect. Sorry. With that said, how many times has something you see scroll across the bottom line on ESPN turn out to be wrong? Pretty regularly. It's the nature of the business.

It's also the nature of the business to deal with unappreciative people who have the benefit of armchair quarterbacking everything you do.

I appreciate all that you guys do. Maintaining all of this is a major undertaking and should be valued and appreciated. However, your comments above though are a bit ironic considering that message boards like this one often contain exactly what you describe above - over the top second-guessing criticism of everything - players, coaches, administrators, bands, cheerleaders, videoboards, writers, announcers, student turnout, tailgating, game promotions, conference issues, university decisions etc etc etc.- by people who often give opinions without real knowledge, experience or real understanding. So why not also criticize the people who make this forum possible in the first place! It would take an entire thread just to summarize the funny criticisms that have appeared here over the years.

Perhaps being critical is somewhat of an expression of passion for the team. However, the message board criticisms should always be taken as such. Passion. Because everyone can have an opinion and second guess everything and not really value all those who have sacrificed and given so much to build the sports programs at Liberty.

For many, this forum is just a stress-release outlet for personal frustrations and personal disappointments and personal failures - not really a true reflection of reality. So, if you get criticized on here or feel unappreciated, just brush it off. If nothing else, you saved a lot of dogs from injuries. Instead of kicking their dogs, the critical stealth posters on here were able to kick a few people virtually on this site with no real impact. Don't let the armchair quarterbacks get you down. It's those who are in the actual real world struggle that really matter.

I understand that this was some sort of "live" event, but I have no idea what it is or how to log in.

Duke, good broadcast. I watched the replay. As for the troll, haha, take it easy man. You guys provide a great LU fan experience, we are lucky to have you. I will always give you crap for reporting we were 100% in the Sun Belt tho.
