Another Mountaineer Fan Here!

(Starting a new thread because I don't want to derail the first thread with this subject)

My name is John and I'll be the second person here to welcome Liberty fans to Morgantown. I'd also like to invite you to my tailgate for some munchies and a cold drink. And to talk some football. I'm a WV native and WVU alum who lives in SC, but my wife and I have season tickets and we both bleed blue and gold. We love to meet opposing fans.

To find us, go to the Blue Lot (main tailgating lot between stadium and Ruby Hospital) and find the three flag poles that are in front of Ruby Hospital. Stand by the flag poles with your back to the hospital, look at the North Gate of stadium (closest gate to where you will be standing) and find the Will Call building right in front of the gate. Start walking towards the Will Call Building. You will first pass through the Blue Lot handicapped area and then cross the main access road through the Blue Lot. We set up in the first spot on the other side of the access road as close to the line between the flag poles and Will Call as we can. (It's first come, first pick but we will be there around 7 AM). Look for a black Mercedes SUV with a WVU tent behind it.

I will say in advance, almost all WVU fans will be very hospitable. But we do have a few idiots who can't hold their alcohol. I hope you don't encounter any.

Hope to see you there.

I plan on stopping by John. Good directions by the way, I think I will be able to find you pretty easily.

Oh. If you are coming in Friday, take some time and drive 20 minutes east of Morgantown on I-68 to Coopers Rock State Forest. Go to the overlook. Hike around the "underlook" if you are able. It is spectacular. You won't regret it.

Dress warm. Weather looks particularly crappy for September in WV. 75% chance of thunder boomers with a high of only 66. It's always breezy in the stadium too.

Guys - weather looks as bad as we've ever seen it. Current plan is to go early and leave 2 of our 3 vehicles and head back to where we are staying for the monsoon morning. Chance of rain down to 50% by 1 PM so expect to be open for business around then. All plans subject to change, but hope to meet some of you guys tomorrow.
