This is pure speculation, but since Coastal will be an independent in 2016, our November 19th game in Conway is up in the air. Their president has said he hopes to be able to keep their schedule in tact, but if you were the athletic director, would you play that game?

I voted to play them, but only in L'burg. No need to play them in MB in an empty stadium, big crowds are always more fun, play em at The Bill.

Yes. Lets destroy them at their place and make a huge push and somehow pack more liberty fans into that place than coastal fans.

Maybe they will have there first ever win over a FBS opponent by then.

Yes, only because our 2016 schedule needs all the help it can get. Can only imagine who the replacement game would be against. I'm guessing Coastal would be in scheduling limbo in 2016 short of playing the full Big South slate as planned.

That is a tough one to call. But I say only play them in Lynchburg if we do play them. No need to give them any $$$$$ at the gate.

Play them in Conway so the LU fans can get one last trip to the beach out of them!

CCU doesn't get enough at the gate to matter to them. Our two schools have a legitimate history and frankly we don't have many of those types of relationships.

Only at home, and I would encourage any other BSC teams to take the same position.

That's just stupid. We need to have a good schedule. There is nothing wrong with Coastal moving up. No need to "stick it to 'em." You guys are hypocritical. If the shoes were reversed, would you want the other Big South teams to "only play us at their place"?

The team we should be mad with is JMU. They promised to play at the bill... and didn't.

I don't think it's necessarily stupid. I would say that it just depends on the composition of the rest of our schedule. We should definitely play them, but if we were short a home game for whatever reason, it would be fair to put pressure on them to bring them to the bill.

That's ignorant. Why, they will be desperate to put together a schedule next year. There stadium will be in shambles with construction. They will probably only have 4 or 5 home games and I doubt they will play us long term because there's nothing for them to gain by playing us 2 years from now. Force their hand and secure another good home game.

If Coastal has all away games next year, that would give them plenty of time to expand their stadium!
