anyway its going down and ... about the endzones... hmmmm

probably look better when its a border all the way 'round

and I was really hoping for alternating shades of green on the field. oh well.

- Is this type of field going to have the black rubber ? It doesnt appear that it will , because the shade of red is already dark enough.

- The blue boarder scared me with the first updated by ADJB. It appeared the endzone was going to be striped, glad it is not.

I'm trying to hold off judgment on the stripes until it's done.

Looks like a much more sophisticated field system, maybe they dont need the rubber pellets.

The rubber goes down after they are done sewing the field together.

No logo in the middle of the field, or can that be added later?

I didn't notice that at first and I hope it will be, a field just looks weird without a logo on the 50.

No conference logo either. I would love a reason to read more into that.

Midfield logo and conference logos are sewn in after the field is put down. We have this conversation every year we get new turf.

Still questioning the rubber.
The colors are dark already with out it.
The surface they put down before laying the field looks more sophisticated.

Also, they have to do the blue all the way around right ? Will they go with just two bue stripes on either end ? The ammount of space between field and FOC looks huge without turf.

The end zones and center logo look great.

can someone post a pic of the old view of the turf to do a stare and compare as to similarieties and differences

graphics about as close to the end lines as possible (NCAA regs specify 2' I think???)

the border is ok... definitely sets the endzones off. I like all the red, much better than the white all the way 'round

I think I like the new turf. My only issue is that when viewing it from the Baptist side in an empty stadium, it really makes the student side bleachers look old and outdated.

A fresh paint job on the steps should help that.
