All right, time to put W&M behind us and focus on the Big South. Is there anyone here who doesn't believe a conferenc title is within our grasp?

Adrian B does a nice job with his blog. I'm sure he'll be dropping by this week. Hopefully he can give us the lowdown on what we can expect arriving at Williams Stadium on Saturday.

They didn't exactly blow the doors off our fellow opponent Glenville State as they durvived four turnover including two that were returned for scores. But they did pick up an impressive road victory at SE Louisiana thanks in large part to Mario E. Brown who was named I-AA National Defensive Player of the Week for his 25 tackles in that victory.

Based on statistics, it looks like their offense has been hit & miss this year. But they have some nice skills players that can do some damage if given the opportunity. We were much more pourous defensivel last week against another subpar offense from W&M. So take that for what it is worth.

I believe we shoudl win this game. But we are in no position to be taking anyone lightly ... especially teams wqith 4-2 records that historically have done very well against us.

Yes, as disspointing as the loss was Saturday, I'll be interested to see how the guys come out and play. If they play to their potential we will win. You never know. We could have a hangover as well. I definitely think a Big South title is within our reach. It's all a matter in winning the games. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Duvaughn Flagler is a fly young man. Check his wing span. Debi wants to be in his Top 8.

Kyle Hill thinks they'll be Big South Champs in 2006.

Mario E. Brown likes to go to the club and go drinking even though he's underage.

More to come when I have more time.

Kyle Hill (57) - likes chicken/shrimp and Bud Light, scared of heights and clowns. Sister's name is Ashley, good looking, still in high school (GMTM can make those jokes). Seems like a really good kid. I somewhat feel bad for heckling him. Ok, not too bad.

If your QB cannot complete passes and your FG cannot convert points, I don't care who you play you will not win. Get those two aspect of LU games straightened out and you can win, if you don't well it will be a short season.

Obviously that is a huge blow. But we have seen from Lawrence & terrell that we have guys who can run the ball. It just means we need a passing game more than ever.

Self promo: I'll have a story on the QB rotation in the fishwrap tomorrow, along with the injury report (which was already updated on the other thread), the kicking stuff and some stuff on Gardner-Webb.

If Rashad can't go, that pretty much guarantees who will play quarterback.

I don't know about that.

Lawrence is no pushover in the backfield. He's averaging over 6 ypc. Obviously, in a much smaller sample size, but LU has thrived off little runners (outside of Gado) over the past could of years.

I just looked at GW's results and they beat a fairly descent SE Louisiana team earlier in the year as well as Tennessee Tech. Nevermind the near miss vs Glenville or the blowout against Appalachian, this team has the potential to be good when they want to be. We better be ready to play with or without Rashaad in the backfield. I think that Lawrence and Terrill are capable of putting up some big numbers but the passing game will have to work for that to happen. The QB at least has to hit the open recievers no matter who they may be and that would free up Zach or Terron to do their thing.

So, what's the word on Rashad? Obviously it doesn't look as if he can go this weekend, but what is the injury and how long does it appear he will be out?
