jcmanson wrote:A quick update on the spring roster4 offensive linemen dropped from the roster. It's a position where we had loaded up for a couple of years, but that is still a lot of big bodies to lose. Looks like Callison was the only one who was playing much. Hopefully the 2 redshirt Freshmen, Story and Passmore, can step up. Fritts would have been buried on the WR depth chart next year with the additions of Farrow, Daniels and King. With several more scholarships available, I would say it's time to check on the FBS transfer situation. You've gotta think a few will make their way to the mountain.

PAmedic wrote:nothing in there about the new faces on O-line (or removal of old faces) thoughI'm sure Troy will get into that as the Spring progresses. It's kind of hard to tell much about the O-Line from 1 day of workouts.
PAmedic wrote:center is just a wee bit importantIn general it is easier for a Guard to move to Center. I'm pretty sure the only OL we have who has actually snapped a ball in a game is Grant Jones. I believe Lucas Holder was a center throughout his HS career, and was recruited specifically to play that position.
not sure how easy it is to move a guard or tackle over?
