I twitted coach Gill and coach Book the article about this kid. Player of the year in New Mexico, crazy stats, 6'3" and 4.0 with no scholarship offers.

I tweeted the article to coach Gill as well. I think we ought to get Falwell I on the tarmac for this kid

This kid didnt look bad at all, made some reads and a cpl of tight throws into some windows. This does need to get to HCTG and maybe the QB coach Dailey as well, since thats his specific position. Didnt seem to get to rattled and stayed in the pocket. Def I would think would be worth a flyer. And more importantly has the Academics to go with it.

Three things:
1) I like where his head is at on the field. By that, I mean he isn't so caught up in the moment. If the pressure is in his face, he still stands in and makes the right throw.
2) I love his deep throw. It's like every time, a projection of him floats over his receiver and drops it in perfectly. (Btw cider, is that the right usage of its/it's?)

It'll be interesting to see how much attention comes his way. I hope a follow up article is written. Something tells me he'll get a few offers.

Coaches don't need you guys doing their recruiting for them.

You doubt the evaluating prowess of BJ and forbidden ? How can you not recognize greatness

He reminds me of Philip Rivers while at NC State. Rivers had a knack for floating passes at the right time. If you don't get it right you're looking at a lot of picks. Looks like he improve remarkably in that category his SR year. Hard to believe he has no D1 offers?

Hey, I know we are not all perfect here, but neither are the coaches, its their job true indeed, but even when they recruit they don't ALWAYS get it right, but hey at that point its the kids fault not the coaches, huh? If a coach is too stubborn and thinks they know everything, then they are not good coaches, period. IDC who they are. What is making HCTG look so good, is the people he is surrounding himself with staff wise, and if there is a kid who may slip thru the cracks so to speak, then by all means I "don't think" it would hurt to throw a name towards them. They are going to make the final decision anyways, in the end. I know for a fact thats how some kids end up as walk-ons on the team at various colleges.
PS: As far a greatness goes nah not great at all, but at one time in my life I was paid to pick talent just as these coaches are, and no I didn't know everything so I was willing to listen and look sometimes for that person who may have just slipped through the cracks.

Thanks for that sch14:
3) He doesn't run a lot, but when he does he makes good things happen. I think he is someone we could build around and would give us a real great complement to someone like JT Bradwell.
