Didn't even have to watch all his film, this kid lined up at OLB, the 1 tech and 3 Tech and creating havoc, nice spin moves, plays with his hands out in front, and his motor is really good. They played some top notch competion in his district and I know he def knows his thing as my cousin is the DC up at Forge. I see him as another standup DE or at the OLB just creating more and more pressure. Not sure who his other offers are, but they should try and get that kid on campus and sell him on the school quick.

If he is a stand up end another Chima in the making opposite of whom I hope to be a future terror in Tolen Avery, or another OLB like Nick Newman one standing at 6'4 the other at 6'3 they could do some real damage

Looks good in an LU jersey. hopefully he'll be wearing one for the next years come Wednesday

The other prospect visiting this weekend, ATH Khylil James, is also from VA.

Olldflame, Wimbo is a defensive guy (DC if I remember), so there is a chance he could be referring to Frazier. James could be recruited as a receiver. remember, we have almost an entire starting defensive backfield already committed with likely intent to sign.

Did I say he wasn't? It is more likely to be Frazier, but I simply pointed out that the Wimbo's tweet does not lock that in because James is from VA too.

Im sure that tweet was about Malik Mathews. That tweet was on the 28th the same day Malik gave his commitment.

He said the post was from Facebook.

It was posted to fb 7 hrs ago and says something about another big time commitment from the state of Virginia.

It was this kid im sure. Khylil james didnt make the visit and were the only d1 offer. I like the kid i think hes a good get. I think were just about done unless hickson picks us. Im sure there is a surprise or 2 out there

As has been pointed out, we already have 4 commits from DBs, plus 3 Freshmen who were redshirted this year. I wouldn't be surprised if James' offer was withdrawn. We have at most 2 schollies left, and I'm sure we are hoping one will go to Hickson. It does seem that HCTG always pulls one out of his hat that was off our radar.

Here's a thought: Kevin Grooms came into the program last year, but sat out because of NCAA rules. was he on scholarship or did he pay his own way last semester? if he was on scholarship that may mean we have 3 available with two days to go

I think it's pretty safe to say Grooms was on scholarship.

That's what I figured...I hadnt factored him in when I originally calculated openings for the 2015 Team Needs thread. that means we have 3 scholarships unclaimed heading into Wednesday

We likely have a commit or two that haven't been made public. If we have one left over, it is is not necessarily a bad thing. We can reward a walk-on who has earned it on the field for us.

This kid will committ and i believe hickson will as well. The last 1 or 2 will either be a surprise or given to a walkon. Im trying to think of a walk on that was in the 2 deep to give it to though.

Alpha is certainly deserving, and he did walk on originally, but I think he may already have been given a scholarship. Besides running back kickoffs, he also saw a fair number of snaps as a safety.

It would be smart to keep a spot open for a transfer or a kid to fall into our lap.

True...has there been any confirmation that Frazier has committed or not or are we just going to have to wait until his letter comes across tomorrow?
