LOL, You know it seems you seem to say that about every father/son LU combo...If his pops still is the at LU thats one less scholly that has to be used at that position for sure, and I could'nt find anything on him recruit wise.

Ill say this with a certainty, with the amount of film I have observed in my time, the kid has SPEED for sure, something you can't teach. You actually see him pulling away from people. Not sure about the level of comp he has played against, but when you can outrun everyone may not matter. I agree with BJ he could immediatly help out the KOR game while biding time to see the backfield

I chortle audibly., You know it seems you seem to say that about every father/son LU combo...If his pops still is the at LU thats one less scholly that has to be used at that position for sure, and I could'nt find anything on him recruit wise.

I do...I think it was mentioned over in the men's hoops section that we gotta make connections with the kids of former players, which we are not doing in that sport. So I would love to see at least one of the "big 3" sports try it

Doesn't Hixon get to come here for free since "pops" works here. So wouldn't they use that scholly to pick up another extra kid.

Any scholarship for a football player counts as a football scholarship.

Any and all scholarships are counted against football's scholarship total.

understand all that if he is "ON" scholarship, what I was asking is since his POPS works here doesn't he get to come here to the school for free based on that fact. If so, then why would there be a need to actually "offer" him. Most schools allow the kid to go there if the parent works there as like an incentive for the parent working at said institution.

Because that is booked by the university as a scholarship. He would be on a scholarship, so it would count against the number of football scholarships LU could offer.
