These are some of the newest helmets that are out and with concussions being the number 1 priority, hopefully its something that's on the field next year on the boys heads

We have some equipment guys on here who I feel confident would have opinions on the gear.

There are studies coming out that are dubious of any added benefit these helmets have on concussions. We may be entering an era of diminishing returns

From the guys around the country that I have talked to who have been lucky enough to have their players try it out. They like it. These helmets are not available to anyone who doesn't have a very good (read $$$) relationship with riddell until probably this summer. The concept is great in theory. However so was the Xenith helmet concepts. The xenith is the most uncomfortable helmet for any guys with bigger sized heads. which is why you don't see very many guys other than Some skill players in them. It remains to be seen how well these do over the next few years. Also: No helmet will prevent a concussion.

Until they were late to the large screen LCD and Plasma game then they fell into obscurity.
