I would love to see us play Youngstown St. At the Bill Now that Bo Pelini is their new Head coach. Is their a possibility of this happening in the next few years??

Anything is possible and we have a history. But for the life of me I can't understand why Pelini's presence would make this an attractive game unless you were a Husker fan hoping to see him lose more after the train wreck on the way out.

What about the Youngstown State football team? Unless you mean Bo speaking in convo

I'd like to see a bigger name come to LU, like say a Marshall or even some ACC school. Don't laugh, Alabama played at Duke a couple or 3 seasons ago.

I was more referring to scheduling YSU for football. not knowing his background, I could not speak to whether he would be a viable speaker in convo at any point.

As miss Lawrence noted, that would be more of a "apples to broccoli" comparison. Duke is an FBS school, not to mention ballcoach, you probably ought to do some deeper research before making some of the suggestions you do

How do you people get away with drinking so early in the day? I won't start until 8 or so, at the earliest.

While I appreciate the attempt at humor, I actually don't drink. I havent touched even a thimble of alcohol since my one visit to Holy Cross in Lynchburg

In this case, I would have done the same too, especially if I was accused of being a drunk or drinking at my place of work or residence early in the morning. At least BJ was honest and answered back respectfully... Lord knows how some people on here tend to do that on the regular...

I'm not sure, but I think the AD handles who we play. I believe they work out scheduling, contracts with schools coming to play, etc.

Also, the feeling on playing each other in football at Liberty needs to be mutual and agreed upon. With that said, unless Pelini wants to play games in VA because he plans on recruiting in the VA area and if our schedules work (meaning we both have open dates), I'm sure Barber and their AD could make it happen.

No, the AD has zero say who in we play. Everything is determined by posts on FlameFans. In fact, other schools watch our boards to see if we want to play them. Everything is done through here.
