There was a great question posed on the CSNbbs ACC message board, which I transferred over to the Liberty message board, and now bring here... What would your Christmas wish be for your athletic department?

1. A move to the AAC along with ODU
2. Football stadium expansion to 30,000
3. Men to add Lacrosse and Swimming & Diving. M/W to add Rifle
4. All teams to compete for Conference Championships, which means men's basketball gets better
5. Collegiate Bass Fishing National Championship
6. National athletic schedule with the ability to get good home/away games with quality opponents from across the country
7. Nike to make us their marquee school in the east
8. Live eagle mascots
9. A roller coaster that delivers you to various parking areas around campus from athletic venues
10. new seating at The Bill... individual chair back seating like PJCS at Louisville, only with cup holders

10a. A kick butt marching band... the biggest... showiest... loudest... extravagant... crazy drum line... with a full on rock band to back them up!

I think "my songs know what you did in the dark" or "dont stop believing" could be "our" song

I was thinking more this:

Has it changed or have we changed? I'd go with the latter.

We've definitely changed, but the intelligence of the board has dropped significantly.

Thats largely a byproduct of the newer members that have come in over the last couple years. some folks are good but a lot of them really just want to cause trouble (the smart newbs know who they are)

Says the guy who started this thread...https://www.flamefans.com/forums/viewto ... =2&t=22375

That thread was one of the more wtf threads we've had beaten recently only by a number of delusional people posting about bowl games in lynchburg.

That said I chalk most of it up to the state of our basketball team.

That thread was totally tongue in cheek. The fact people took it seriously speaks exactly to what I'm talking about.

I would go with Jon's wish. Then I'd come back and read / post more. To many over the top yo yo fans on here now. Too much knee jerk, not enough die hard fans.

I'd also like the live eagle thing in some form.

When we have the tower done with the bell on top, they need to have a camera always on it with some way for a student or honored guest to ring it on third down. Only I hope they don't fall off.

Oh yea, and a trip to Frisco next year.

Dont kid yourself, it wasnt ever that high. Just because youve grown out of the silly stuff, (kind of) doesnt mean Jake isnt allowed to have his time.

Dont be a codger.

Honestly its not Jake i worry about. He has his moments but he at least tries to be intelligent from time to time. some folks make me think they had a lobotomy right before they post though

It would be ironic if I was just as clueless PH. (Cider feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that) as I said, I know some of the stuff I say is stupid but that's pretty much how I do.
