Two things:

Knowing the importance of this game this week, does anyone know if LU is going to offer a fan bus to go down to SC to help support the boys, knowing that any extra support would be appreciated and acknowledged.

Jerry 's Joker's
Gill's Girls
The 12th man

Second,
I AM in the process of putting together a fan bus to go down and back to Coastal. I have access to limo drivers and chaueffers to drive down. Leave around 2am Saturday morning with stops along 95 south and or possibly down towards 29 to designated pickup points. I am thinking about a 34 to 40 passenger limo bus for this.

$60 to $75 per person to go (pending actual bus size), to help me offset the cost of the bus. Pls let me know if it's something worth continuing. Will cutoff the deadline at Thursday as I need the extra day n time to finalize everything.

If a family drives down I do believe you will hv to gas up at least 2 and a half times, so I'm thinking price is fairly reasonable.

It's right at 600 miles round trip. 2.5 tanks of gas is equal to getting 12 mpg on a 20 gallon tank. More realistically, you're looking at 1-1.5 tanks (20 gallons at 20-30 mpg).

I'd rather get in a car and drive with friends than take a bus. Not that you shouldn't set it up, but it will always be cheaper for four people to get in a car and go than on a bus.

I heard one of the RAs that runs Gillville say someone(I didn't catch who) asked him to lead a group down to Coastal for the game. He is also the RA of the dorm that started Jerry's Jokers so it makes sense they would want him and as many of the Jokers that could make the trip to go. But nearly everyone on campus is going to be headed home for Thanksgiving on Friday so I don't think a fan bus or caravan is going to happen for this one.

Anyone have information on ticket prices or can get cheap prices for alumni (where is our resident alumni leader?) I've been debating all this week making the trek up with a few Liberty alums, but was holding out in case they play BCC in Daytona for the playoffs, but after yesterday that doesn't seem like it will take place.

I would recommend a short bus for anyone making that trip knowing that it will be a veeeeeeeeeeeeery long, sad trip home.

(Home I am wrong, love LU, but been on too many road trips for a BIG game, always with the same ending). I will be at the playoff game if we happen to reverse the course of gravity and win this one. We CAN do it, but WILL we? Tooooooo many disappointments along the 40 year journey of LU athletics. Kinda like rooting for the Cubs and I have a weak heart. :)

Since I can't get down there this weekend I was hoping to see it on TV. Right now MASN is showing the Monmouth game but I don't see the Liberty game on the grid. Please tell me they are going to work that out this week someone. I guess I still have ESPN 3 but I'd rather have it on the Big screens.

SCAR, if you haven't invested in a Roku2, I would highly recommend it, because it puts an ESPN3 game (and Netflex) on your flat screen.

And as for fan bus trips, I've taken 2 to Stony Brook and one to Coastal, and all 3 trips were great experiences, thanks to the hard work of Olldflame, HMO, and others.

Does ESPN3 work on Apple TV yet? Or Hulu Plus or Netflix or Amazon?

And a bunch of those are heavily discounted with the early Black Friday sales this year. Great investment IMHO.

What in the world do you mean by "yet"?

Netflix has been available since 2010.
Hulu Plus has been available since 2012.
WatchESPN has been available since 2013.

I don't use any of those things really that much but I had heard ESPN 3 wasn't on Apple TV. I don't have Apple TV yet but I'm thinking of getting it.

I regularly watch our ESPN3 games on Apple TV. Another option, if the game is on the Liberty Channel, I watch it on my Iphone or Ipad and use airplay to display it on the TV through AppleTV.

Does anyone know if this game will be broadcast on the Liberty Channel? ESPN3 does not work in Central America.

I have no direct knowledge but doubt it seriously. It might be on the Big South Network feeds but I believe this is a ESPN3 exclusive. Perhaps somebody on here has a Slingbox and can hook you up with a signal.

Back in Costa Rica, I presume. Be glad you are not freezing in Oklahoma right now.
