Surprised this hasn't sparked some conversation on here. This is big. A 3-star prospect out of Texas whose top 6 is Arkansas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Army, and Liberty. That's 2 SEC, 1 Big 12, 1 Big 10, a service academy, and LIBERTY.

I think it speaks loudly of the coaching staff, the dbs that we've had coming thru, and that wonderful Texas connection. The playoff run is paying off as well. How huge would it be is he came to LU. It would open the floodgates IMHO.

I'd love to know what our sales pitch was to make a top 6 with schools like that. I think that says everything that needs to be said about where the team is headed.

I'm wondering if Harbaugh has been on the phone with Dalton. This was the first I've heard Michigan was in the running for him.

I see 3 players from Houston on last year's roster Cook, Wilson, and Chima. But none are from the same HE as Dalton.

One of these things is not like the other...one of these things just doesnt belong...

But seriously, if we land this kid, he will definitely be the jewel of the class.

This kid looks very fluid, and def seems to understand some zone principles. He could come in and compete immediately. With the success that the school is hopefully achieving in post season and with players in the NFL he could do some things. Big fish smaller pond or small fish big pond? Being 6'3 will def be huge regardless of where he lands

This kid could come in right away for sure. At his size he could be put in a #1 v. #1 matchup and do well

if he came here i would immediatly put him up against Petey, to see how he handles "our" best, then work him down to how he handles speed in Shells and his quickness with a slot. Just to see how he competes. At that point that would let me know if he could play or RS. Don't want him to become another Brandon Browner big and long but gets alot of penalties. Remember we still have another tall one from last year in Chris Turner. Or does he get moved to safety with his range.

It's easy to stop Petey. Just throw him the ball when he is wide open! :pbjtime :cheerleader

He has eliminated oklahoma from his list. Were still in it with michigan arkansas and kentucky.

Getting him would mean two huge wins in the db unit for the 2015 class

He has risen to the 89th ranked cornerback prospect in the country.

He's the type of kid who I could see getting a lats minute offer from one of the majors after their top choices fall through. I'm glad the new coach at UH didn't really have any scholies to offer when arrived from the title game.

I'm wondering if he plays CF in baseball after Alex Close's tweet to him. If he is and LU is the only school to let him play both, that could be big.
. Man @TheN8Dalton sure wouldnt mind having a ball hawk out there trackin them down in center! #thenextdeionsanders http://t.co/leAv59FDcQ

If this kid is a good enough CF to play for us, it could be a difference maker in landing him. Chance for him to be an old fashioned multi-sport BMOC at LU as opposed to fighting for PT as a CB someplace like Michigan. With the way Toman's guys have been getting drafted and very possibly us having 3 DBs in the NFL next year, his chances to get the attention of pro teams in either sport may actually be better than at a big school.

I noticed that as well. I have a gut feeling that if he doesnt commit to michigan on his visit we have a serious shot at getting him. Arkansas is the only other baseball power in that group. If we can land 2 or 3 of dalton kitchart clements and king we will have an outstanding class.
