SFC e-mail stated:
Also, we will have an extra five hundred seats placed in the back of the North end zone for Saturday's game. Now, this will be open to the entire student body but..... we wanted you guys to be the first ones to know about it. Do you want to be the closest to the action on the field? Do you want to be fifteen or so feet away when the team bursts out of the tunnel? Do you want to be right there when Wynton Jackson catches a pass in the back of the end zone? Then come on down! You will be able to access those seats via the far end of the student section. We will still protect a smaller SFC section in the normal mid-field area, but at the last SFC meeting, you told us that you liked the end zone seat idea better by about a 2-1 margin. It will help us fit more people in the stadium with us down in the end zone, and our noise level will be better heard by the old folks on the "Baptist" side of the field. Plus, we will enjoy the intense close-to-the-field atmosphere...Hope to see you down there!
