I don't often get this feeling, but I feel like we just might win this game.

We will play well because there's no pressure. This game means absolutely nothing except for Sun Belt bragging rights. It doesn't impact the current season so we will come out like world changers and have a great chance at winning.

The sun might rise in the West next Saturday............................ but not likely. Would love to beat these guys but having our top two MLB's out really impacts our ability to play good defense.

We have the talent to win this game. It all depends on which team shows up.

Be great to go into the bye week on a winning note and get some sweet payback on the mountaineers

I agree. But I am not confident that we will do everything needed to win the game.

A good gameplan, strong effort by all aspects of the team, and few mistakes (penalties, turnovers, or missed tackles) and we will win the game.

Wow. They're bad. That's basically a tie with home field being the difference

In another thread I predicted that we would be in another 3 way tie for the Conf Championship with CSU and CCU. Looks like I'm not crazy.
But Campbell looks bad. Guess they can't get over the hump........too easy

Is Kameron Bryant injured or did Lamb just beat him outright?

From Manson's link: "They [LU] are expecting to come to Boone and win convincingly."
Really?

Bryant is fine. Lamb was given the nod, opening some eyes after coming in against Michigan and leading a scoring drive of about 90 yards. His decision making is said to be quicker and better. Plus, he'll have three more years to play after this season. Decent arm, and not a bad runner. His dad is Bobby Lamb, former Furman head coach and player and current Mercer head coach.

I've been excited about this game for a while - lots of good friends from high school and church went to App, and one of my best friends played for the Mountaineers for the last 5 years. While they have been down this year and last, they have a storied program and would be a great win to get - essentially the North Carolina version of a win over JMU. Kidd-Brewer is in a beautiful setting, and hopefully the wet weather will hold off and give us a nice afternoon in Boone. Looking forward to heading up 421 and watching our guys get back in the win column! Go Flames!
