Time to think about their lackluster performance. Put them on a bus and drive them back to liberty. I kid.

Been watching the Elon, Coastal game. If we don't consistently put pressure on the QB, we are going to have a very long season ahead. Both of the QB's in this game are much better than ours.

Back to earth, out of the polls, and a real good shot at either third or fourth in the BS.

You are so pessimistic I've already predicted yet another 3 way tie for first

1 for 11 on 3rd down, 30 something yards rushing, and 4 turnovers
That plus Woodrum was just off today and we had no shot

Glad I missed the 2nd half today. We desperately need to be able to put this mess behind us in a hurry or we will be looking at a losing record heading into conference play.

Did the coaches remember their game plan? Or was it, "Pass until we can run?" Where was our fullback? How many times can you run your smallest runnning back up the middle? I think we have established that Woodrum cant throw the long ball about a year ago. Did he remember that it is ok for a QB to run the ball? Very sloppy!

Associated Press
Campus police at Indiana State University in Terre Haute say a student who was shot on campus was the sole intended target of the attack.
Police Chief Joe Newport says the shooting early Saturday evening took place in a stairwell of a residence hall on campus. Newport says that the shooter fled the scene and that police don't believe there's a further threat to the campus community.

I think and hope ISU will be ranked at the end of the year. I didn't know much about them coming into the game but they looked like a solid team and very well coached. I think the most frustrating for me is knowing that they were 1 -11 last year. We were 1-10 in 2005 and have spent a ton of money, on our 2nd coach since then (hired a organization to help in the hire process), and looked into the FBS move. Coastal is up #3 and been to the playoffs several times in their 12 years of football. What is it going to take to get us to the playoffs or the next level? I guess that is the million question. One thing to lose that game yesterday but we looked awful in most aspects of the game.

ISU plays in a tough conference and they have several ranked opponents remaining on their schedule. They made mistakes on Saturday but the talent is there. They will be ranked if they play as well as they did, minus the penalities, bad punts and turnovers.
Liberty could have won that game if they played their best. They didn't.
-The 'O' line was manhandled.
-Woodrum was off.
-The receivers were terrible at times.
-The 'D' adjusted late.
-The 'O' never adjusted.
The last two are on the coaches.
But, despite the sputtering offense, if ISU doesn't get the touchdown just before halftime, the complexion of the game is different.
Going forward, I hope that after a screen pass is stuffed the first time that we just quit calling that play. Saturday was ridiculous....but, again, we had no run game.

. . . and we have NO return game. 5 games and no returns of any significance, just slips, fumbles and poor decision making. The cover game is improved though.
