I think they are going to want to put on a good show for the home crowd, especially with it being a CFAW weekend. I think the guys will want to prove something against an inferior opponent and youll see lots of point on our end (and nobody getting up and running for a TD after everybody thought he was down). I would love to see 70 and think we can put that kind of number up against a below average D2

BJ - You do know that they run the clock-crunching option offense, right? 70 points? There would have to be a slew of turnovers for that to happen. And that doesn't even factor in our offense's less than stellar performances through two weeks.

Once again, they were right with WCU until just before the 4th quarter on Saturday. I expect us to win by several TDs but I will actually be a bit pleasantly surprised if we break 50.

Liberty - 42
Brevard - 13

First off, our players aren't going to be motivated by C-faw kids being there. Secondly, during CFaw weekends, I know of a bunch of students that would sign-out for the weekend. And when I moved off-campus, most students avoided campus during C-faw. Cfaw never has and never will impact the score of a game.

Now that I've gotten that out of my system; LU 42 Brevard 17

It's not the score CFAW would affect. It's the attendance. Yes, some students leave to avoid it, but not nearly as many as come in.

I do think that it being a CFAW will not affect the score, because it is a CFAW, there will be a large crowd, and with that larger crowd, they will want to have a dominating result.

Ahh...thanks for the correction Cider. Hmm...if Bryant beats Maine this week then we really could have a good game ahead that weekend and definitely would want a good crowd. The thing that may drive the attendance this weekend is the fact that its the opener and people tend to come out in good size numbers for that first game (the last 5 years we have been over 15,000+ every year with a high of 19,314 in 2010 (yeah that year was officially the second home game because the first was at City Stadium)

How is that different from saying that CFAW will affect the score?

Id say the same for homecoming. (By the way, if we are 4-1 heading into the game as some predict, that could push 19K if the weather is good)
