Here's to hoping the starters are out of the game after halftime.

Looks like Brevard hung with Western Carolina until about halfway through the third quarter.

I hope we put 70 on the board. The team needs a game like that.

Yeah, they were within a touchdown until late in the 3rd quarter. And that comes a week after WCU put a big time scare into USF down in Tampa.

For the most part, Brevard runs a triple option offense out of the flexbone. We have had good defensive line play, so we should be able to contain it through disciplined play. Our main issues in this game will be playing against ourselves and avoiding injuries.

This game will be over by halftime, the students will leave early as usual. I wouldn't even go to this game, but it is the first home game, so I will make the trip. Glad we are not scheduling teams like this any more.
Go Flames.

I thought about going but realized it wouldn't be worth the drive. I, too, am glad we are done with lower level schools after this.

Likewise. Now that I'm not in Lyncjburg, I have to be much more selective with games to go to, whether by myself or with the family. Will be nice to have a full D1 slate every year

Does LU post any kind of a tailgating map to show what tailgating spots are reserved and what others are available?

Its blatant coachspeak.

I didn't say it wasn't warranted...a statement like that was begging to be disagreed with.

Do you guys expect anything from Coach Gill other than coachspeak. I've been following LU athletics for 7 months and I've only heard coachspeak from every single coach here and it's not like it's new.

Anyhoo...this is about as good a week to hold anyone out as we will get til our bye week. Fualaau is out according to the scribe's piece today, and we are not sure about Kenny after he left the game in Norfolk.

This is a message board. We are random fans who don't know what they're talking about picking apart things that are said because we care about the team. And we don't know what we're talking about.

If you want honest, typical reaction from these quotes read Lang or FlamesNation. They're much better at that stuff.
