A Sea Of Red

So, I came home from work today, and browsed Facebook a bit and ran across a teaser video from the football players in the complex getting excited about something. The post said to stay tuned for some exciting news later in the week. I am guessing new uniforms huh?

If all goes right in the world they will look like the new LA KISS AFL uniforms! That would be SO mega epically awesome!

The 2013 ones were nice but there were a little plain so maybe these have a little more flash to them, maybe not as far as the LA Kiss uniforms, but something actually representing the name "Flames". Like Flames on the cuffs of the sleeves and around the base of the helmet. (Red helmets, jerseys= Blue flames). Maybe that's just my inner 12 year old coming up with this stuff.

I just hope this is the last change for a while and the helmets are more clean looking. Other than that I have no real expectations.

I'm hoping for wins, no matter what uniforms we wear.

Yes, word is uni's will look REAL good, and helmets will be a blast from the past for some.

Well with the Chancellor's Cookout (or President's Cookout, whatever they call it this year) taking place on Friday and the Fan Fest the next day, we won't have to wait too long to find out. Im also really jazzed for the new video intro as well

ALso, jbock, I think it goes without saying that we are all hoping for wins regardless of the uniform

Matte helmets and put the actual logo. Oh and just win. Thats all I really care about.

There will be combos people love, and combos that don't work as well.

Wait! I know, I know.... I'm think'in light up uniforms! You know, like the kiddie shoes? When our guys run, every step their shoes light up like a merry-go-round and when they hit something their jerseys and pants light up like a ferris wheel. Same goes for the helmets!!

Or, or.... they could have the stuff the glow sticks are made from and just stay lit the whole game.

None-the-less, I am anxious to see what they break out this year. It'd be nice to find something great and stick with it for a while. I wasn't too keen on the helmet last year, so anything might be an improvement in my opinion this year. I know a lot of teams have gone with the chrome look. I'm not sure that would be a great LU look. Matte is popular as well, but I only think it's okay, if done right. They could play in cellophane for all I care as long as we go undefeated!

Are we looking at something similar to the uniforms from the Coach Rutigliano era? (Red helmets, blue jerseys and white pants for home, white jerseys, white or blue pants for away?

No. talked with Chris(head eq manager) last night. I love the new ones. you'll like some. others maybe not. Check @libertyequip for details soon. players have already seen them.
