Huge loss and 2nd season in a row we lose our top running back. Abnar is a talent, but he's not an every down back. Interesting to note Clifton Richardson is nowhere to be seen on the depth chart, he's still on the roster though.

That is interesting Manson. he came in with quite a bit of hype last year and didnt exactly take the bull by the horns at the position. Makes one wonder what the coaches thought of him over the spring

Don't rule out of the possibility of an FBS summer transfer considering the fact that we now clearly have opportunity.

That's unfortunate...but not every FBS transfer ends up a Rashad Jennings or Joe Flacco or what have you. Will be interesting to see if Abnar can handle the increased carry load and Kaigler can step up as well

Des Rice tore the ACL and meniscus in his right knee.
maybe I should stop second guessing HCTG and his decision for touch football @ the spring game

This sucks, I was hoping to see him in our backfield this year. I guess well see what our other backs on our depth chart can do. I wanted to see a healthy rotation at our North Carolina game, we do have some guys in our stable, lacking in-game experience of course, nevertheless heres to a good year. Pray for Desmond's speedy recovery, sad to see this happen to such a quality person like him.

Abnar always seemed like the lightning back for us (think deAnthony Thomas from Oregon). Kaigler showed some flashes in mop up duty last year so we will see if he can step up as the "thunder" back in the backfield

Hmm...DK never struck me as a speedster in high school. he must really have improved significantly in that area over the spring
