Purdue appears to be the frontrunner as they flooded his mailbox with 50 offer letters according to Tario's twitter account. He was impressed.

Hopefully someone will bring it to his attention what a cheap and easy trick that was. Anyone want to bet he wasn't the only Purdue recruit to get such "special" treatment?

When you are Purdue, you play to the gimmicks considering the caliber of competition with whom you are competing. Yeah, it is cheesy gimmick. But it is one that impressing 16- and 17-year-olds who are unaccustomed to ever receiving anything in snail mail.

Apparently it is impressed him enough to verbally commit to the Boilermakers yesterday.

In reference to what Sly was saying, maybe the Flames should try to do something similar for some of there top targets, that they are after. Especially since its such a cheap and easy thing to do, and also since we are trying to also make an impression on these 16-17 yr olds
