Very powerful player (coming from that part of the country that doesn't surprise me), sheds blockers quickly in the backfield. Id project him more as an end at his size (our tackles last year were closer to 300 I think) but certainly would be a good pickup with the defending national champs in the mix

One of those 300 lb tackles we had last year arrived on campus as a 220 lb tailback BJ. This kid is 6'5" and 255 as a junior in HS. Figure he'll redshirt like most interior linemen and it will probably be 2 1/2 years before he plays his first down of college football. He will probably be at least 285.

That is true...(shocked I didnt think of it). Will have to keep an eye on this one this fall

Guess the allure of playing bigtime football relatively close to home (and for a legendary coach in Bill Snyder) was enough to sway him to go with the Wildcats over us and the three time defending national champs
