Like this kid, plays physical and bigger than his size, due to film doesn't look like 5 10 or 180 but has what looks to be decent speed and great closing speed and IMPACT. In press didn't see no one run away from him, even tho his stance was a little wide. Solid pickup if he signs I see another nickel back to provide some depth to this secondary.
BJ its your turn, lol

First thing I like is the speed naturally. You can put him on an island and he can hang with any WR in one on one coverage. He is very physical but doesn't break down prematurely in open space. I think he would be an excellent edge rusher on kicks as well

In looking at film, I didn't see him ever pull away from anyone, and if ur 4.4 in HS it SHOWS. I also didn't see him, go one on one with any bigger, taller WR, so that would be something I would need to see, at the least we have Petey, Shells and Farrow at 6'1 and above with deceptive speed, that would be my only concern. Do we EVER send anybody off the edge, seems we only rush the middle, the edges really only seem to contain. It would be great to actually see it utilized.

Really why I liked the speed is it enabled him to close very quickly on the ball. I'd also like to see if he can pul?l? away from anyone. As I said, he does not break down prematurely on his tackles which enables him to finish and not be left in a runners wake after breaking a tackle

Ok, ill explain myself better, his closing speed on the ball is good as far as making tackles on the WR, I was talking his speed in the return game, after his INT's, and on his KOR's, minus the one where the other team most likely left there lanes when his teammate dropped it, he def made them pay. Looks like a 1 cut type guy in getting that foot in the ground and then north/south. He looked to shed blockers well indeed and make tackles on the edge, but again how would he do vs a GW type Kenny Cook at 6'4 or Petey at 6'2. That was my reason for saying he may be a good slot DB, either way he would def be beneficial in a LU uniform

I agree, I wouldn't put him in a #1 v #1 situation at his size but he defintely would be a good complement in that slot position. on INTs, I'm not going to expect him to go for a pick six every time, but if he can flip the field for us with his plays I can roll with that.

Yes, slot DB is a different animal because they have that two way go almost, and its alot harder to get the INT's because alot of times you end up in position getting your hands on the ball and tipping it up to either a LB, S, or CB.
