Lee had his moments but looking at him I have to ask myself, "He's good...but is he Mike Brown good?" I think he would be good competition, but Im not quite sure that he would be somebody that I would hand the keys to the Porsche to just yet over Woodrum.

I won’t compare him to Brown, however he would be a more talented transfer than a former Liberty / SC Gamecock quarterback named Tommy Beecher. Lee’s performance in a GT’s triple option offense was mediocre to average. Vad is built for a spread or pro-style offense and he has decent speed and a strong (and at times) accurate deep pass.
As it stands right now we only have one QB with real extensive game experience, I can’t see any downside to having a FBS QB, with two bowl games under his belt, waiting in the wings to push Woodrum in spring ball / camp, or to step in if there is a injury or failure to perform. But with our luck he’ll go to JMU and play under Everett Withers and go deep into the playoffs.

My guess would be an FCS school closer to his home in Durham, N.C., like Richmond or James Madison.
Now that would be a nightmare!

Mike Brown was a game changer for us at the QB position. While I did disagree with the number of touches, especially his last year, but he had ability that hadnt been seen at that position on the mountain in quite some time (maybe Antwan Chiles). I wouldnt call him the gold standard, but he certainly left quite an impression. Wonder sometimes how many yards he would have if he had been a QB all 4 years.

Can he throw?
Can he run?
Can he run and pass?
Yes, Yes and Yessssssss!!!! The kid would definitely be a positive lighting rod for the school/team if we were lucky to land him. I’m just saying.
“He's spiritual (on his feed, you'll see plenty of references, in this order, to faith, family and football). He's optimistic. He relishes the idea of lifting others.” http://www.ramblinwreck.com/sports/m-fo ... 13aaa.html
