Getting Redskins owner Dan Snyder to spend money has never been a problem.

This time, it might actually help.

After kicker Kai Forbath asked, the Redskins had a pair of regulation goalposts on their practice fields replaced with a narrower set of Arena League goalposts.

I thought, maybe during the offseason Liberty should buy arena goalposts for the football practice field. It may help our kickers, both current and in the future.

Just a thought.

Not a bad idea. Although, I would be concerned about pitching the idea because someone might get confused and accidentally purchase an arena league football team as well as a new stadium for the team on campus. This will significantly decrease the time before the NEW master plan comes out, revamping the entire campus yet again.

I've never understood why arena football never took off, it's fun to watch and a blast to go to!

I thought this was common practice. I recall a couple of teams that used narrower uprights for their kickers in practice a few years ago. It makes sense. Kind of like (the theory at least) of swinging a weighted bat before heading to the plate.

I really think it would help, and surely a set of arena fg posts shouldn't cost that much.
