bet CCU likes reading how close THOSE are, even though no one really puts stock into them

They don't mean anything but, barring a miracle, we'll be #1 in the Sagarin ratings next week. Coastal hosts Furman, and that could get ugly.

3. New Hampshire
4. Southern Illinois
5. Appalachian State
18. Towson

Again, I put VERY little stock into this.

Further proof that Sagarin ratings are worthless when it comes to I-AA.

That wasn't really a smack on Liberty, more just a problem with how the Sagarin rates I-AA teams. There's no way LU should be ahead of CCU right now, not after CCU beat Furman and Wofford and LU has beaten ... uh, Savannah?

Before last week, the biggest win for the Big South, according to Sagarin, was CSU over El Cid. No, not Coastal over Wofford, CSU of El Cid. Explain that one.

B/c CSU has really really really sucked the past few years (except last year, they got better) and they were playing a team that has traditionally been a step above them (not much of a step though) and Coastal is a quality program that was playing another quality program???? Thats the best guess I can come up with...and if thats the case then the value of the Sagarin Ratings means I should get paid for looking at them
CCU is definitely the team to beat in the Big South this year, and this Saturday will show us just how far LU has truly progressed.
