Why 3:30, why not 1PM like the rest of the football world. Might get more people there and stay while it's warm :D

1pm? Who in COLLEGE football plays at 1pm? It's 12, 3:30, and 7/8 for nearly everyone that doesn't have a weird TV timeslot.

We haven't had an early start time since the city stadium game in 2010...and I think the last one in Williams was 2007 or 2008

We might approach 2002 attendance levels for this one. What an awful game in the middle of the season.

In the post-game radio show, they were saying that if we draw 2,000 and change that we will total over 102,000 for the season, which will be a single season record for Williams Stadium. So fill the Bill!

Let's see... would most people rather watch the SEC game of the week at home or watch Liberty beat up some pansy D2?

That's why a 1pm game would be perfect since all the noon games usually stink these days.

That's why you are not a true fan! You can't like other things! This. Should be treated like Sunday Church Service which you shouldn't miss! :flamingdevil

I'd really love to be there for this one, but I don't think I can make the trip this weekend. One of my former students/track athletes is a Senior WR for Brevard (#12 Trey Bray). My main concern in this one is that I don't want our guys to injure him...

Despite PH being obtuse again, I think we have had this discussion ad nauseum ad infinitum about schedule quality especially at home. personally, even though I'm not part of the decision making process, I'd like to make games happen with schools like Cal Poly or Central Arkansas or Delaware or Towson or Fordham or any other number of teams that would "move the needle" even if it means going to their place first.

You may want to look at the BSC schedule and see we're the only team that seems to play at 3:30, the rest start at 1PM. I know the ACC and NEC start at 12:30 but the CAA starts a lot of games at 1pm. I'm just saying I'd rather have an earlier start than 3:30 or I'd prefer a 7pm start over the 3:30 time.

It's a football game for your school... If your a fan and can be there - you should be there. Every team has bad games on their schedules - look at other schedules like VT, UVA, etc... they play bad schools and their fans still fill the house. This isn't ideal, but I'm guessing was necessary to fill void of SB (Just guessing)

I think we put to much value on our fans being educated. If the school builds it up they will come. I sat at basketball game the other night and listen to this whole group of guys behind me talking about Randolph - "Good team out of NC...should be a good test...pretty big school...think they play in the same conference of Davidson..." Wanted so bad to turn around and say - R-MWC...

We should win 74-0, and if you like to see touchdowns - you should enjoy this game...

They also usually don't play those blowout games in primetime time slots unless there's some good reason (like Florida State playing at night would be understandable in late August due to their climate). Most FBS blowout games are scheduled for noon. OSU does this.

And those are the games the Season Ticket holders give to other people or sell

Have you thought about a Thesaraus or have you just not changed the date on your Word of the Day calendar for about a month :flamingdevil

well played...although if the stories I hear from my landlord are correct, you probably ought to get some counseling for all that bitterness bottled up inside
