Old Dominion University's Howitzer cannon, scheduled to be fired when the Monarchs take the field Saturday in their football homecoming game against Liberty University, has become another victim of the government shutdown.

I'm kind of hoping our D finds a way to shut it down regardless of if congress gets it together.

But without government, who will fire the cannons? This is why we need government.
