Is Gill the man for the job?

I preface this by stating I like Turner Gill. I think he's an outstanding man with high moral character. With that said is he the man to leaf this program to a higher level? I've studied his teams at Buffalo and Kansas and frankly I have my doubts. I think he's a good coach, but do we need a great coach to get us where we need to be? I'll hang up and listen. :)

Best coach we've had since the 80's

He gets a minimum of three years before we start casting doubt, IMO.

And what had liberty really won in his time prior, that TG didn't get done in year one on the job. And that is without his own real recruiting class. Their might need to be some tweaks here or their, but he is doing a outstanding job.

It's too early to tell if he's definitely the man for the job, but he's proven that he is good enough to deserve a full 3-4 years to show that he's not.

We are four games into his second season. He is coaching what our previous coach, who is now in Richmond, described as "kids he knew well because he recruited them". Give the man time to have a system in place with kids he brought into the program. Are you from Kansas or something?

I deleted the link, thought it'd be redundant to have it'd twice...you're welcome!

I'd like more insight into what you've studied and the conclusions you were able to draw

It was on the internets. Right next to the offer from the Uganadan Prince who needs my help keeping his money safe. Sounds like a good deal too. Imagine what Flames Club level I could get

I've been inconsistent around here for a year or so. Is this Pat Kelly or no?

Its not 100% yes from me. Its also lame that we are gonna question the coach mid year of his second year, after a hard loss.

This is not the PK who just finished out his LU career last year. I know him personally and he wouldnt make comments like that, especially around here.
