Looking over their roster, they have a bunch of kids that were high school teammates from our players. I would expect to see plenty of pregame and postgame conversations on the field as a result.

After giving Army some trouble, the Bears run into a buzzsaw at Robert Morris. So they are a tough squad to judge based on their brief body of work this season. They are relying heavy on underclassmen.

Taking a look at the running back situation as Aldreakis Allen is set to return, includes quotes from Coach Gill - http://www.libertyflamesnation.com/runn ... who-plays/

Talked to Aldreakis Allen today, who said he has general lower body/leg soreness. His goal is to be ready for the Sept. 21 game at Richmond.

Understandable...have him ready for what I see as the biggest stretch this season on our schedule (@Richmond, @ODU and homecoming vs. Coastal with a likely blowout of Kentucky Wesleyan thrown in along with a bye week)

This is a game we really should win easily btw...Morgan State, despite giving Army a game, is not a good team. They have had I think one winning season since their current coach took over and, as I said in the prediction thread, they got their (censored) beat by a team with a transfer QB from the Happy Valley Dumpster Fire of 2012 making his second start.

On a personal note, I actually applied for the lead play by play broadcaster position at Morgan State two years ago and looking at how they have done the last couple years, I probably should be glad I didnt get that job...

From the article at the Morgan State football site (http://www.morganstatebears.com/news/20 ... ?path=foot)
• LAST MEETING (Sept. 21, 1996) -- Behind quarterback Otis Covington's 367 yards of total offense, Morgan State slid past Liberty, 34-28, in overtime before a crowd of 1,558. The Bears improved to 2-1 for the season, it was their first winning record in seven seasons and second in a span of 14 years.
I think this game's crowd will be slightly larger ....

Here's a look at Morgan State DB Joe Rankin who drew interest from BCS schools but did not qualify academically - http://www.libertyflamesnation.com/oppo ... oe-rankin/

Not surprised that he is gonna draw the #1 matchup on Saturday. Im sure DP is more than up to the task though if his last two weeks are any indication.

Yeah...10 times for sure. Hope the students bring it with the same intensity this week as they did last week
