ESPN's numbers on him are totally inaccurate. He was recovering from a very bad cold and ignored my advice to sit out the SPARQ combine.

That being said, he is receiving the most amount of interest right now from Clemson, Elon, UCF, Bowling Green, Ohio, Virginia and Toledo. He is also getting looks from NIU, James Madison, Marshall and UNC.

Liberty has looked at his film close to twenty times recently on NCSA and they have had some interaction but recently they haven't been showing much interest.

Jake is a dynamic wide receiver with the ball in his hands. If I had to compare him to Conner Vernon or Michael Companaro. Kid will sacrifice his body and is willing to go up and get the ball.

Him and David MIGHT be interested in playing together but David is getting far more significant looks from major programs due to his size and speed.

Jake, along with David Cook, led his team to a state title last weekend. Props to both him and David for sticking with the school they grew up in despite the opportunity to get more attention at either Gainesville High or Buchholz. Jake will participate in the National Underclassmen All American game right after Christmas.

Jake got dead-legged early in the first quarter and rolled his ankle a bit. He refused to be deterred though and came back early in the second quarter and finished with 101 yards rushing (1 TD) and 7 receptions for 207 yards and 3 touchdowns.

He is the favorite to be named the leagues most valuable player.

Here's some highlights from the championship game. The size differential with him and David compared to the rest of our players is pretty obvious. Jake is #25.

Jake has taken visits so far to Georgia Southern, Charleston Southern, Clemson, East Carolina, UCF, South Alabama, Valdosta State and Florida. Liberty has picked up contact with him recently but we are unsure of where he is presently on their WR board.
