Shut down the process early by verbally committing to Ohio State.

Decommitted from Ohio State and gave his verbal to Auburn over the weekend.

Announcing the decommitt and new verbal at the same time is less than tactful IMHO. Usually, even if he has actually made up his mind the player will allow a period where the recruiting process is "reopened" before announcing the new committ.

If he is still taking visits then he is a soft commit. Wait until they turn on the charm in nearby Gainesville. In the meantime, is Urban losing his sway with young Floridians?

In the continuing drama of Ben's recruitment, he has now de-committed for the second time. After switching from Ohio State to Auburn, he has now re-opened himself to the recruiting process. He remains one of the nation's top prospects.

First Ohio State ... then Auburn ... and now Stanford.

I guess at some point he will commit to LU, sort of addition by subtraction, we eventually will have our name called, lol
