As best as I can tell, we will have the following seniors running out of eligibility following the 2013 season opening up scholarships for Signing Day 2014:
  • Walt Aikens
    Brandon Apon
    Francis Bah
    Sorie Bayoh
    Grant Bowden
    Malcolm Boyd
    Aaron Dial
    Jibrelle Fewell
    Kevin Fogg
    Branden Francis
    Cory Freeman
    Peter Gagliardi
    Jaquan Glover
    Scott Hyland
    Chris Mayo
    Greg Pratt
    Hunter Steward
    Richard Wright
Now assuming that each of the above is on scholarship and not a walk-on and also assuming that transfers haven't already or potentially could snare a 'ship or two, we should have a total of 18 scholarships to hand out in February. Aldreakis would have been originally included in this list but by all indication the arrival of Clifton Richardson took his slot.

Some of you guys know the scholarship situation of some players better than I do. Am I missing anyone?

I think you about covered it as far as scholarships go. There is a name on the roster that if you see a Senior by their name that might give some pause, but Fereg at WR is a transfer from North Greenville (and I think a walk-on)

just for the heck of it can we give all the guys you listed another year. looks like we will be pretty young next year, so we need to make a deep run in the playoffs. not slighting any of the new kids but we are gonna lose a lot of experience after this season.

After a cursory look at the roster, I find 22 juniors, 14 sophomores and 22 true freshmen. We have 16 combined redshirt freshmen and sophomores on the roster.

We were blessed to get the extra season for Malcolm & K-Fogg, sigmo7 ... but I agree that we have a ton of talent around for just one more run.

I think with all the injuries Liberty had last year was a blessing in disguise. Sure Liberty missed out on the playoffs, but most of our core talent is coming back along with Kevin Fogg (a dynamic return man). Add those factors with a potential game-changer in Richardson, a more-experienced Woodrum and young play-makers in Shells, Peterson, and G. Henderson, it should be a fun year! :D
