6'1 182 pound safety Tyreik Lyles of Byrnes High School isn't just a play maker on the field for the Rebels. Earning All-Conference honors last season Lyles also shined brightly in the classroom with a overall GPA of 4.31. Consider that he runs a 4.45 second 40 yard dash and it's easy to see why he already holds 6 early offers. That's why he's "UP NEXT" with SCPrepNation.com!

I like this kid, only thing is he was always and only around the box at LOS. He has length of a safety at 6'1, but would love to see him on the hash. He has great under instincts as well with the few ints he had. Solid prospect, and way way smart too.

He could be a Brent Vinson type player...can drop into coverage but has the physicality and size to offer run support up close

Nothing wrong with having more than one player of that type (for the record I did not find your word choice very amusing given my life circumstances) in my opinion. it will prove helpful especially against teams like Stony Brook or other teams with their balance tilted toward the run that significantly
