I can sense them as well. But there are several key matchups (especially in Conway & BJU country) that I will be watching very closely.

Coastal's got some key defensive guys out and SCSU is looking for revenge. They're expecting a record number (more than the 8000 at JMU last year) for the game.
Western's ranked this week but Furman is just down right good and it's in Greenville. I think Furman takes it.
GW has no chance against App. They're expecting record numbers for that one too.

Unfortunately for the Big South VMI and GW get slaughtered, but CCU pulls one out in overtime and LU wins easily against SSU.

Appy State only leads Gardner Webb 6-3...I think there's 3 minutes left in the half...

I would say the results are about what we would expect. Obviously Wake looked solid at Ole Miss and Towson had a big win on the road at Hofstra. Otherwise, I don't see any reason why we don't have a great shot at winning every game after next week.

App is #2, not #1. UNH is #1. Western, despite the loss today, worries me more than any other team on the schedule.

Duly noted, SJ.
BTW the Towson QB that we confounded last week went off atHofstra throwing for 458 yards and 3 TDs. Perhaps our defense is better than we are giving them credit for right now. I'm really curious to see how they stack up against the Deacs.

There is no reason right now to complain about the defense even with the weak competition we have faced. The verdict is still out about the offense or the lack of a passing game as well as a quarterback that can lead the team. We have not had a real good quarterback since Ben Anderson and that has been quit a while ago. We will have to wait and see if something materializes with Brock Smith or Zach Terrill. If not the transfere route may be the best option or somehow can get that Blue Chip recruit to come to LU.

Okay now to get back on subject. I think that the Big South showed this week that it is not too legit right now in football.

Rutgers has been tough this year. Actually, the whole Big East has improved- though sometimes you have nowhere to go but up!
