The date has been announced for the spring football game at Williams Stadium ... April 13th.

You can do the math in your heads to figure out when the workouts will begin.

That also says we're opening the season on a Thursday night.

And considering KSU's positioning this fall and the MACtion contract with ESPN, the television possibilities are very intriguing.

Ok, we know what the date of the sping game is, but what I wanna know is how many of the newer recruits go to this game as well. Is it just the ones that are local enough to get there or what. thx

They probably will just based on the fact that the players have now had more time to assimilate the offense as opposed to last year. I wouldn´t count on too much though. Most coaches are not going to show too much just for the sake of entertaining the fans that show up. You don´t have to go deep into the playbook to see what the players can do, and that´s what the Spring game is about.

olldflame is right...if anything theyll keep it pretty basic for the spring game for the very reason already explained. You wont see a ton of installation or what have you until training came in July/August.

Ive heard the same. With the new network, I wouldnt be surprised if that changed next year though

It will be a live practice...too many are out or left the team or injured to have a sping game.

A Thursday night game in August is usually a nationally televised NCAA launch for ESPN, right?
