I am not sure if they are passing over Louisiana or just not getting any interest, but central and northern Louisiana is a hotbed for private christian schools with good talent, especially along the offensive and defensive lines. Some schools to keep an eye on would be Westminister Christian(Opelousas, La), Calvary Baptist(Shereveport, La), and Evangel Christian(arguably the best football program in the state. Noted as one of the great dynasties of high school football. notable alum: Brock Berlin, John David Booty, Josh Booty, Jacob Hester)
Just something to keep an eye on especially with all these Texas recruits committing.

Sounds like something to send to Adam Godwin (the recruiting coordinator I think). Might not help for the 2013 class but would get things rolling for 2014

We have offered kids from Evangel quite a bit over the years particularly back in the Rutigliano & Karcher years. We haven't had people really working Louisiana much until the new staff arrived.
We've had contact with at least
one kid in Baton Rouge. I suspect with some of our coaches having more Deep South connections we will continue to increase our recruiting down there. And of course, if we get into the Sun Belt then we will likely begin to focus a great deal more attention into the state with more talent per capita than any other.

Godwin is Paul Rutigliano's assistant and his title is assistant director of operations and recruiting.
In the world of college football, a coordinator is always a coach, and more specifically one who has been given specific responsibilities above and beyond the position he coaches.
Our recruiting coordinator is Marshall Roberts.

Thanks for clarifying olldflame...Coach Roberts would be a good one to pass it along to then.

Actually, Godwin would also be a good initial contact. He clearly is involved in the recruiting process in a more administrative type capacity. My only issue was in the use of the recruiting coordinator title.
