Verbally committed to UVa per Rivals. He doesn't claim an offer from us.

Why would we offer? He's local.

We're also returning a bunch of guys on the D-line next year, many of them underclassmen, so unless he is head and shoulders (figuratively speaking) above the guys we have on the roster, I really don't think this is a real miss on our part.

Considering that we didn't offer I think there is more to it than we didnt want to recruit the local kid. You being a coach, and a local one at that, ought to know that there is a lot more that goes into the recruiting process.

Now I will also say that even though I dont think this was part of the reason we didnt offer him, can someone explain why the angle on his highlight videos is so low? It is almost impossible to find him in a lot of the video before the snap.

I talked to Michael when I wrote VES' season preview this year. He didn't even mention Liberty as a school that was he was looking at. In fact, he was committed to JMU at the time, so he's switched since the coaching change.
