Less than stellar opening drive...3 and out with two penalties in 2 minutes..

Both DL are beating the OL so far. They're finding open spots when they try to pass, but thankfully a big drop and some uncharacteristic penalties have slowed VMI down. Good job by Ayers returning the ball on a punt that overshot the coverage.

Their DL is handling our OL with ease in the running game. It's game 11 and I still don't understand why we try power running with SCH. Hopefully we stop screwing around and get to the kind of breakdown we had last week with Allen getting 15 carries to 7 for SCH.

Overthrow into triple coverage by Woodrum is picked off and VMI answers with a TD pass the next play. They're having no trouble passing against us.

pick should have been nullified by a nuetral zone infraction, looked like NT jumped early.. no call

Starting to look like the games prior to CSU. Let's just knock out a 98 yard TD drive now and get things back on track.

Really nice throw by Woodrum staring down the rush on 3rd and 2, completing the ball to Dutra, and getting the 15 yards on top of it for roughing.

Not sure what Woodrum does with his cadence, but I'm starting to expect him to draw a few encroachment penalties every week.

Time to remove the Allen halfback throw from the playbook.

thats at least twice this year we have tried the halfback pass and it was not good either time..must be perfect in practice lol

woodrum had two receivers open and instead of throwing it he tucks and runs.. 4th down

VMI gives up 30.3 PPG. We need to get off of 0 right now.

Woodrum has been a little inconsistent at times today, but those last two passes were perfect throws into tight spaces. 13-7 isn't ideal, but the team looks like it's finally woken up and is playing with some emotion now.

BTW, during hafltime you might want to check a couple of those SoCon/SEC matchups.
